Installation, Tundish Repair
The Tundish Management Project at TATA's Port Talbot Steel Works, South Wales is an excellent example of how Monolithic Refractories Ltd working closely with the customer to ensure all their requirements are met. 
Monolithic Refractories supply labour and materials to reline tundishes used at the Continuous 
Casting Plant (Concast) within the Port Talbot Works. Tundishes are delivered to the Tundish Repair Bay (owned by the customer) and sprayed and dried using equipment supplied by the customer and then returned when required. 
The contract requires a high level of cooperation between Monolithic Refractories Ltd and the customer as well as other contractors working in the area.
