It is the policy of Monolithic Refractories Ltd to provide and maintain safe and healthy working environments for all its employees, and to aid in the prevention of accidents/ill health whilst satisfying the legal requirements of Health and Safety Legislation.
It is the duty of all employees to conform to Company Policy, Safety Rules and Approved Codes of Practice, and to accept and carry out their responsibilities.
It is the duty of every employee whilst at work to take reasonable care for the health of themselves and of others who may be affected by their acts or omissions at work.
The company is commited to ensure the effective implementation of the Health and Safety Policy to safeguard management, staff, customers and visitors from injury and ill health whilst on its premises and / or on site where the company is undertaking its business.
To ensure effective implementation of the Health and Safety Policy, the full cooperation of management, employees and sub-contractors is required, together with the clear allocation of duties and responsibilities and an up to date and effective Health and Safety Management Programme.
The Management of Monolithic Refractories Ltd shall regularly review (1 Year Duration) and update the policy in view of changes in working practices and legislation.
